Privacy Policy

Dealer Agent is a private, internal tool used by a single auto dealership finance manager to manage inventory, deals, leads, and appointments. It is not offered to the public. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is used.

Information we collect

• Operator account data: the credentials used to sign in to the app.
• Business records the operator enters or uploads: vehicles, deals, lenders, leads, customer contact details, and documents such as credit applications, insurance declarations, and titles.
• Google Calendar data, only if the operator connects a Google account (see below).

Google user data

When the operator connects Google Calendar, the app requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scope. It uses that access only to:

• create calendar events for customer appointments scheduled in the app,
• read, update, or delete those events so the app's calendar stays in sync.

Google Calendar data is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not shared with anyone except as needed to provide this feature. It is not used to train AI or machine-learning models. The OAuth tokens that grant this access are stored in the app's database and are used only by the app's server.

Dealer Agent's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use information

Data is used only to run the dealership's workflow inside the app: tracking inventory and deals, scheduling appointments, preparing listings, and contacting customers who asked to be contacted.

Service providers

The app is hosted on Vercel and stores data in Supabase (Postgres and file storage). Some features send the minimum necessary content to third-party processors to do their job, such as AI services that read uploaded documents or draft listing text, and messaging providers that deliver messages the operator sends. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

Retention and deletion

Records are kept as long as the dealership needs them for business and legal purposes. The operator can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the app's Settings page, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of any data, email the contact below.

Security

The app is protected by a sign-in, all traffic uses HTTPS, and access to the database and file storage is restricted to the app's server.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
